Satellites are gears (or groups of wheels) with external teeth. In this case, the satellites are in simultaneous and constant engagement with the crown and sun gears.

The sun gear of the first row is made floating in the form of a long pipe with external teeth. The sun gear of the second row is made floating in the form of a long pipe, on the inner end of which the teeth are cut, and on the outer end, the slots by which the sun gear is connected to the hub of the driven gear.

Crown gear - gear with internal teeth. It covers the planetary satellites, converting their low rotation speed to high output.

The surface of the teeth and splines nitrate:

h 0,3…0,6 mm, hardness ≥ 550HV5, rest 269…302 HB
